New Flash Games Website

Soooo been the game geek that I am I've got wind of a new start up site that's coming very soon and has apparantly got some pretty good backing behind them!

Aparantly a new flash games website called FizzleGames.com looks like it's going to be coming into the market and hit the ground running with some pretty awesome new game sponsorships!

As far as I can see or from what I've been told its currently a 2 man team who have a pretty good background in the casual gaming niche so I'm really looking forward to seeing what these guys come up with!

As you can see from the link the site at the moment seems to be a live testing ground for them working on the site, which is actually pretty cool as you can see exactly what they're doing if your sad enough like me and re visit it every few hours throughout the day! haha

Needless to say, whichever games they release, you guys will be getting my full in-depth review of them and I won't be holding back! if they're lame... I'll tell ya!

Yay! Finally had the Bathroom done!

Ugh as most of you will know I've been wanting to have the main bathroom done for ages! and all my birthdays and christmas' came true in one day when the husband finally decided we should go get it done!

It's taken us on average about 3 weeks from start to finish to get the old one out and the new one in but I'm so pleased with the outcome!

We ended up going with UK Bathrooms ( www.ukbathrooms.com ) and the guys down there were great! helped us out from start to finish and they had some great bathroom suites in there store and online.

I'd definitely recommend them if you guys are thinking about doing out a bathroom or anything.

I lost the damn camera at the moment its no doubt under a pile of clothes but when I dig it out I'll get some pics up on here to show you all and been the proud woman I am I'll no doubt try get them onto some interior design blogs to show it off im that pleased with it! haha

Game Review On The Flash Game Happy Wheels

With a slogan like “try and try until you win” you can already tell how addictive this game can really be. The graphics are superb and at some spots are so realistic they can be considered on the edge of "extremely" graphic especially for younger children. The beginning theme music has nothing on the sound effects that the characters make and the sounds of when a character gets hurt or is dying can be slightly disturbing though.

The object of the game is to go as far as you can with your motorized character without losing your life, limbs or blood. Each level of path you travel down is more like an obstacle course though. Filled with wrecking balls, spikes and landmines and breakable projectiles such as bottles, chairs and televisions. Each obstacle that you run into can cost you any where from some blood to a limb, but if you lose your head or get blown up then it is game over.

There is an amusing cast of characters to choose from each which their own special ability to match their motorized vehicle. There is the doorman on a Segway who has the ability to jump, the old man in a jet-fueled wheelchair with the ability to boost, a father and his young child on a bicycle with the ability to brake, the couple on a moped with the ability to boost but just slightly, an obese middle aged woman in a motorized shopping cart has the ability to jump, a heavy set redneck on a ride on lawn mower with the ability to jump, a explorer in a mining cart that has the ability to hook up to other carts and last but not least Santa and his sled with a limited ability to fly, which by the way is not pulled by rein-deers but by elves. The most amusing character is probably the lawn mower red neck who can run over food to eat and occasionally random people that get in his way.

The general controls for the game is the space bar, shift, ctrl and the four directional arrows on the keyboard. The letter z is also used to eject your character from their vehicle. This game is filled with non-stop action from swinging on ropes to reaching over head paths. The yellow and black paths lead to the finish line but good luck getting there.

Bloons Tower Defense 5 Finally Released!

It's like Christmas just came around all again! Ninja Kiwi have finally released Bloons Tower Defense 5 (BTD5)!

If you guys don't know what this game is yet you need to get to know it! This is as you can see the 5th in the series of the tower defense style and it is by far the best in terms of detail and features.

There's been a few new additions in the 'hard' style as well as new bloons shaped like hearts that regenerate and a number of new monkey towers!

I don't know the exact date when the game was released but I found it yesterday and I'm already hooked! spent near on all last night playing it, it's pretty amazing how fast time passes when you are playing! haha

When you first give it a go you'll have no experiance points and only be able to build monkey dart throwing towers but don't let that put you off you'll progress quickly and unlock everything in no time if your as hardcore as I am!

This is addictive and don't say I didn't warn ya!

Christmas Party Around The Corner!

Well I have been at work today and it seems that the work Christmas party is happening in the early part of next month, meaning that it’s time to try drop a dress size as fast as I can so I can outshine some of the other women at the office and are the type that have their nails done on a fortnightly basis and hair done maybe three times that same month.

Now I have to admit that I’m not someone that tends to play up to the masses and goes all out to impress, especially at a work related get together, I prefer to keep my head down, but this time out I think I might make a huge impact and try to pull out all the stops.

The party is going to involve a 3 course meal and then a black tie party after, meaning that if I want to look the part, I have to dress it and there is no way on this Earth that I am going to be left in the background this time, not like last year.

So I have taken out a few of the magazines that I have laying about and I’m on the hunt for a little black dress that is going to knock the socks of those other women that think that they are about to take the limelight for the whole evening…

I have been speaking with my best friend, Charlotte, and she has been telling me about some weight loss supplements that she has been taking to aid her mission to drop a jeans size and boy does it look to be working, she’s already taken offer two inches from her waist and hips!

So now the hunt is on for where to get my supplements from and to get them to work in time for the party, not long to go but I will be definitely looking to get the best results that I can between now and then.

Well it has been a long time coming but it has finally happened... Dave finally got his butt into gear and asked me to marry him, after 4 years!!

We went out for a meal at the Hilton Hotel close to our house and i have to admit that i thought it was a little strange that we were going anywhere else but the local balti house to get his 'mother nan', leaving me with very little other than heartburn and waterfilled eyes!

Anyway i got a message at work and he told me that i was to rush home from work, get my so called 'glad rags' on and be ready to head out to eat at 7.30pm.

So not one that was going to miss out on a surprise i took the afternoon off work (i need a good few hours to get ready for a night out!) and headed home to find that he had also taken the day off work.

Looking sheepish on the computer i asked what he was doing and he simply said that he was checking on the football news and to see what poker games were coming up (he likes to think that he's a professional but it costs us more in his poker losses than our bills, usually).

Anyway we head out and the meal was great, white wine by the bottom, ordered whatever i wanted and was a little shocked when he even pointed out that we were staying over! Then it happened...

The lights dimmed and Dave started his tongue tied speech that he seems to do when he's nervous before sliding off his chair and onto one knee.

From there the whole room seemed to stop eating and turned to look at us as he asked me to marry him, i prayed that he wasn't about to unveil some hidden cameras somewhere as that is the sort of thing that he would do!

I accepted and what i feeling it was!

I've (we've) not chosen a date as to when we will get married just yet so i have alot to think about but I know that i want a summer wedding!

Once the numb feeling had worn off, i looked down at the ring to see the huge diamond sat on my finger, how could he have afforded this?!

So me being my outspoken self asked him outright and he seemed only too happy to tell me that he had joined a new online poker site that had offered him "a huge poker bonus" where he had managed to win an online poker tournament, cashing enough to cover the ring and the stay at the hotel!

Okay so we still have the wedding to cover but if this is a sign of things to come, i'm ready and willing to stand by him as he looks to win another tournament!

Horse Racing Here I Come!

Well me and the girls have decided that it’s time that we all get together and catch up, I mean Laura has had a baby a few months back, Georgia has moved house, there is so much to talk about!

So I came up with the idea that we should look to do something a little different to what we are used to, like going to the horse races!

As soon as I mentioned the idea it seemed to stick and now it looks like I will have to look at Grand National tips are we are looking to go to the biggest horse meeting of the racing season.

I have no idea why I suggested horse racing, I have never been nor have I been interested in it before but my boyfriend has and he always comes back with a handful of cash so why can’t I do the same?

So I’m going to head into town over the next few weeks and plan what I’m going to wear, I guess that it depends on whether we are going to stay over in a hotel down there and go out for a night out after or whether we are just going to get on a coach and return home after drinking and betting all day.

I think that to keep the pace with some of the girls I’m going to have to cheat a little when it comes to the drinking part, maybe ask for a glass of water in a wine glass so I can stay under the radar.

Either way we should have a great day and it will be so great to catch up with everyone I used to be at school with!

Wonder if there are any hot looking jockeys?! :P

Suffered A £2,500 Ace Break

Well I have been flying on the online poker scene since joining Titan Poker and have seen my bankroll continue to move in the right direction but last night I could have thrown my computer out of the living room window after suffering a crushing blow as my pocket aces were cracked by some donkey with 9/10 off suit!

Playing at the $2/$4 tables on the site I was sitting pretty as the flop fell with only three players still active in the game and both of the other players seemed more than willing to enter into the hand pre-flop after I had raised the price to go to $40.

Well with three of us locking horns as the flop fell 7h – Jc – 2s, I was still sat in one of the best positions that I wanted to be in at that point.

Making my standard check raise play, the guy to my left raised up the stakes, a very nice sight for me who was sat there with my pocket rockets ready and willing to burn a hole in my pocket, so I raised the pot up once again when the action got to me.

Seeing one of the players drop out of the hand at this point wasn’t too worrying as it seemed that I had someone more than willing to see this hand through with me and I was loving the thought of the cash being shuffled over into my pile of chips!

The turn falls, showing a 10h.

Okay so at this point I’m thinking that I need to work this guy and get him to come with me while still making sure that my next bet was one that was going to give him a serious decision, so moving all in I was a little concerned as the guy then followed me without what seemed to be a moments thought.

The feeling of seeing trips being turned over began to consume me and the regret of such a harsh move seemed to dawn on me, thoughts that we quickly removed when the cards were turned and I realised that he was chasing little more than 8.

But in true online poker style, the river fell and it was 8c.

I felt sick, the fact that this guy was even interested in coming into the hand pre-flop at the rate that the pot was raised really began to make my blood boil, then the fact that he was then willing to call an all in to the tune of £2,500 without a moments thought, wow.

Well once again I have seen my pocket aces fall to a hand that shouldn’t have been involved in a hand but hey, I guess that’s gambling!

Great Online Poker Story

Well I have been thinking about joining an online poker site to play a little poker myself as I have taken quite a shine to it within the local Gala Casino in town and while looking for more information on where to join, I found a great story from a guy that used to play online at PokerStars but was recommended to try Titan Poker by a friend.

The story revealed how he joined Titan Poker and made full use of the titan bonus code when signing up to the site, only for him to win his first MTT (Multi Table Tournament) and win himself a huge $10,000 payout.

With stories of success like this I have to admit that I am now drawn to joining Titan Poker and seeing if I too can replicate the players success at the poker tables but I am aware that playing online is different to playing live, where I can try to read my opponents.

It seems that the player was so happy with his chances at Titan that he is now even willing to turn his back on PokerStars, the biggest online poker room in the world, saying that the players he comes up against at Titan are considerably less talented as the ones that he used to play against on PokerStars.

Hopefully I will be able to write a similar success story to the one that I have read when I join the site tonight but I’ll tell you now that it won’t be as special as that one as I prefer to play smaller tournaments, called sit ‘n’ go tournaments apparently online, or at the real money tables.

Fingers crossed that I’ll be able to bank $10,000 from my sessions online and one day you could be writing a similar post about my successes.

Well better get back to work but I will update you guys on my progress as things play out and I either sink or swim in the world of online poker.

This game is mainly meant for the kids of 3-5 years in which a cat will enter in to the screen and will eat away all the food materials coming in its way. The food will scroll on the screen and the cat has to catch as much food as it can. By this game, kids know about the names of fruits and vegetables. For some food materials they will gain 2 points and for some other food items they will score 1 point only.

There are some things run in which there are no points given for such. If you continuously eat 3 things which cannot be eaten the games thus ends. Fast search of food items and good items carries more marks. After the completion of game it will ask for your name to display as highest score. The names of the food items are displayed during the play and kids can explore the new names which they do not know. On the top you can find three cat figures in which they will die if you eat non eatable items scrolling on.

This game is so funny and cat looks like pixel. You have to guide the cat to have awesome treats and have to try to avoid the vegetables and fruits as long as you can. Just like the little kids of today, cat also likes ice creams and puf cakes thus getting lot of points. Health fruits and vegetables score single point each time. The nature of the game is equivalent to the nature of the children of this modern world. The graphics of this game are clearly visualized in which you can see all the food items very clearly.

Lollipops are very good to look at and children will ask for them as and when they play this game. The cat is so cute and pretty trying itself to eat all the cakes and ice creams. Sounds are also quite excellent in which you can find interesting sound when you eat cake or ice cream and the sound differs if you eat fruits and vegetables and again the sound varies if you eat any non eatable thing. Scratch cards are instant fun and offer instant rewards. Thankfully, these little gems are available everywhere from service and petrol stations to confectioners and newsagents in every town and village.

A scratch card is an ingenious piece of card on which numbers or words are printed which are then hidden by a removable layer of, usually silver, latex. The hope is that by matching the numbers, once they have been revealed, the player will win a pre-determined sum of money. The amount of money won increases by the number of matching items on the card.

Normally a card with a one number match will pay the player the sum the card itself has cost. That way the game can carry on with another scratch card. With only two matching numbers the sum will most likely rise to around £10. However, when five or six numbers start to match then the cash sums can rise to anything between £5,000 and £50,000.

Trying my luck with Bingo!

Recently I was told from my friend Suzy that she'd been playing online bingo... it seems it's increasing in popularity as I've seen it all been advertised on day time TV inbetween shows such as Jeremy Kyle (yes I watch it!)

Anyway Suzy told me she had been playing over at 888Ladies.com so I headed over to their site and signed up for free. They gave me some real money to start with I guess to lure me in so I sat down and started playing.

In all honesty is pretty much just a social place for people to talk a bit like a chat room, everything from buying the cards and dabbing the numbers can be done automatically, I have played online bingo as my husband plays it and there's actually a bit more skill and excitment required with that!

It was pretty good of 888 to give me some free money though and I did actually win once or twice but because it wasnt my own deposited money I really wasn't that bothered about losing it! haha

It's worth trying out anyway and it can be a good laugh in the chat rooms, it's a bit like loose women but online! :)

Its quite scary how much gaming online I've been doing but I'm genuinely really enjoying it, I don't think I'd ever be bothered to make a night of going down to my local Mecca bingo or anything like that though!

Angry Birds Rio Online

Angry Birds Rio Online is a great follow up to the original Angry Birds game. The game has the same objective as the original, but this time instead of shooting the birds at pigs you shoot them at different caged RIO birds to set them free. The birds you shoot, sling shot style, all have a different talent. First, there is the red bird. He is just a point and shoot bird, that will blow up and knock down boxes. The blue bird breaks into three smaller birds when the screen is tapped. The yellow bird is a triangle that gets more powerful, also, when the screen is tapped. The black bird is a bomb bird that blows up when he lands, and lastly, there is the white egg bird that lays eggs that will blow up boxes or cages when you tap the screen.

This game is fun for all ages and is played by putting the cursor over the bird, pulling it back and releasing it to hit the target. Physics comes into play, as you have use it to angle the bird, to be able to hit the right spot and free the caged birds. With many levels and the ability to retry without penalties or the game ending, makes it easy to lose track of time. Also, the fact that a level can take under a minute makes play time go quickly.

The graphics are good and run very smoothly, without skipping which can mess up where the bird lands. My one complaint is that you can't adjust the size of the screen to be able to see both the sling shot and the target. I would have to move the cursor back and forth, which made it harder to hit a just the right spot or target. I found the sounds to be fun at first, but then they got annoying the longer I played the game. Because, sound isn't needed to play the game, I just turned down my speakers, since there isn't a way to turn the sound off on the game screen.

Overall, I think this is a fun, family friendly game. I can see young kids to grown ups playing this game, and since it is tied into the movie RIO it has even more appeal.

Honk Kong Ninja Flash Game Review

Honk Kong Ninja is a side-scrolling fighting flash game made by Miniclip, producers of free flash games for nearly a decade.

Players have the choice between two characters, Long and Ring. They play very similarly (although Ring has more powerful combo attacks, while Long has stronger special moves). With no intro to speak of, the game plops you down on a Hong Kong street at night and presents a never-ending horde of thugs to beat up. No motives are given and no explanation offered as to why these thugs are intent on punching the hero's lights out, or why the character is equally willing to amble down the road continually punching and kicking angry strangers. But frankly, no explanation is needed, and the fact that the game eschews what could have been a painfully cheesy cinematic probably adds to the level of fun.

Movement is controlled by the iconic WASD layout, and the keys J, K, and L perform all other actions. J initiates a combo attack, beginning with a light jab and concluding with a powerful finisher. The full combo has the capability to knock out most weak opponents by itself. Pressing K causes the player character to jump high into the air. From this aerial vantage point, evasive maneuvers and dangerous approaches can be made in relative safety. While in the air, the character can still initiate attacks with the J and L keys. Hitting the L key performs a powerful attack that drains half of an opponent's HP, draining MP.

There are also various items dropped by fallen enemies - the majority are simple trinkets that grant the player generic "points," reminiscent of the cherries and bananas from Pac-Man. This feature is a bit anachronistic, but intentionally so - the game was meant to imitate the style of fighters from decades past, when High Scores in the millions were practically an industry standard. However, there are also powerful weapons, such as the katana.

The soundtrack features exciting electric guitars that crunch and sing perfectly in tune with the game's atmosphere, and the entire '80s-era mood it evokes. The sounds of punches, grunts, kicks, and chops are well mixed and contribute greatly to a certain Metal Slug vibe. The graphics are simple pixel art, but in this case, simple pixels get the job done.

The gameplay is solid and intuitive, and fun from the moment you begin playing.

Mortal Combat for Flash

What can i say about one of the greatest multiplayer fighting games ever made on a console. From its first ever release as an arcade in 1992, to the many hundreds of copies that came out into the console gaming world.
On every console from PC and Nintendo 64 to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 the games are beloved by the fan base and unmatched by an other martial fighting style game released to this day.
Then when we thought it cannot go any further they surprise us once more with a release on Flash player.
The direct link I will include here shortly, but I wanted to first give some back history on the series itself the many titles and platforms that are associated with them.
To start things lets talk about the consels that it has released to, ranging in variety over the years to cover most all of them on the market today for starters it came out on arcade, Mortal Kombat was released in October of 1992.
One year later we have Mortal Kombat II it was released for arcades as well featuring a wider variety of characters and a higher Quality, also in 2007 a PlayStation 3 version of Mortal Kombat II was released revisiting the original games with an improved quality and style.
Mortal Kombat 3 followed in 1995 on both the arcade and console also released was two expansions again improving on the characters and graphic quality along with new exciting in-game features.
Later the same year was released Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 and following it The Mortal Kombat Trilogy a gathering of the contents of the first three with the style and game play style of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3.
In 1997 Mortal Kombat 4 was released the first of the series to feature third dimentional graphics as well as being the first 3D game ever released by midway Mortal Kombat 4 was released on the PlayStation, Nintendo 64, and PC, while an updated version named Mortal Kombat Gold was released specifically for the Dreamcast in 1999 a special recap to the older versions of the game with much better game play and visual effects.
Now it was time for a change and with the release of Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance in 2002 the game changed no longer focused on the arcade styles the graphical quality took an explosive turn featuring more three dimensional arenas and the games character list erupted with new contestants, Deadly Alliance was released for multiple platforms to include Xbox, PlayStation2, and GameCube.
Later released where two versions for the Game boy advanced named Mortal Kombat Tournament Edition, and then later in 2003 was the Deadly Alliance release for Game boy Advanced.
The next release took the games even further into the new age, released in 2004 the sequel to Deadly Alliance was released called Mortal Kombat Deception, the game was distributed on PlayStation 2, Xbox, and GameCube. However in 2006 Just Games Interactive released Mortal Kombat Unchained for the PlayStation Portable (PSP) their version of Deception, but as the games are constantly evolving and releasing new titles it was short work for Mortal Kombat: Armageddon to be released the same year for PS2 and Xbox then in 2007 on the Wii.
On September 29 of 2008 Midway released the Motal Kombat Kollection a gathering of the three most recent titles to the main franchise.
Their is much more history to learn and i would direct you to Wikipedia for the any other questions you would care to know, however i have gone a bit off base with this article the main point was to direct you to the newest release, Mortal Kombat Karnage a online flash version of Mortal Kombat featuring nine playable characters with single and multiplayer modes and seven arenas to choose from, tho it takes a turn towards the original games with a side scrolling feel to it and two dimensional quality the graphics are not bad and the game play is simple all in all it poses a nice feel and a new challenge to those who enjoy Konquring the Mortal Kombat series and as always the game is free to play i have posted the link below and i hope you enjoy the carnage.

Angry Birds

Angry Birds, the physics based puzzle game that originated on the iPhone is now available on your desktop. Just as in the mobile version, players use a slingshot to hurl "angry birds" at a fortress containing evil green pigs who stole their eggs. As the levels progress, the fortresses become increasingly complex and require more strategic lunch targets to bring down. Gamers familiar with the Angry Bird will find the flash gameplay to be rather identical to the iPhone's incarnation. The only major differences are the controls which mainly utilize your computers mouse or touch pad. Just double click on the bird to grab hold of it, and then pull it back and click once again to launch the bird. Graphics are crisp and even average processor speed will produce smooth game play. Kingdom Rush

Created by IRONHIDEGAMES, Kingdom Rush is a flash based tower defense game. Unlike traditional tower defense games however, Kingdom Rush requires that players both build and defend their towers. This novel concept makes for a challenge unique to Kingdom Rush. Towers can be upgraded to gain special abilities, such as launching explosives and casting spells, using "strong-points."

The graphics rendered in Kingdom Rush is truly superb. I particularly enjoy the detail given to the evolving towers. The environment, composed of lush multi-layers grass and dirt paths, is very well done. Gameplay is also accompanied by fun, action themed music and sound effects.

Overall, Kingdom Rush is a much more involved game then any of its predecessors in the tower defense genre. Players new to tower-defense might want to begin play at the easier level. Its peculiar spin on the game mechanics make Kingdom Rush a must-play for tower defense enthusiasts.

Hey been ages since I last posted! But I had to post today because I can't contain my excitement!

I'm going on Holiday next week! Finally... it's about time I finally got some Sun Sand and Booze!

I've had a pretty stressful time with exams and what not recently so I'm going to let my hair down and just get some chill time :)

I've booked with 3 of my girls to go to Ibiza in Spain, I've been before to the 'white isle' but I seriously cannot wait to get there and see Swedish House Mafia!
